BUTTERED-SIDE DOWN: A COOKBOOK FOR THE EMANCIPATED MALE

After publishing 2 books, 3 lab manuals, and more than 100 research papers on mammals, I have made a left turn from science and published a cookbook entitled BUTTERED-SIDE DOWN: A COOKBOOK FOR THE EMANCIPATED MALE. It is 8.5" X 11", with spiral binding. It is more than just a cookbook for males, it is a 182-page "survival manual" for anyone with severely limited kitchen experience. Both title and subtitle were derived from my experiences in learning to cook in order to survive in the modern world. Recipes for the 236 exceptionally tasty dishes contained in BUTTERED-SIDE DOWN were modified through 28 years of trial and error plus dietary restrictions demanded by my physician. Although not a "health food" cookbook, most recipes in BUTTERED-SIDE DOWN are "low fat" and "low cholesterol."

BUTTERED-SIDE DOWN contains recipes and instructions for preparing breads, muffins, cereals, starches, salads, soups, vegetables, chicken, turkey, fish and other seafoods, stir frys, eggs, sauces, candy, cookies, cakes, frostings, pies, desserts, fruit dishes, and pickles and relishes, plus tips for combining them into appropriate menus many of which can be ready in 30-45 minutes. There are also instructions for preserving and drying fruits and vegetables. Finally, I could not refrain from including anecdotal addenda to many recipes regarding their development or potential.
